Worktivity connects a project to a ClickUp list and pulls its tasks in, so tracked time lands on the work your team already plans in ClickUp. Importing is read-only: your ClickUp tasks and lists are never changed. On a workspace connection you can also turn on Write time back, which adds the time people track as time entries on the matching ClickUp task, depending on your ClickUp plan and permissions. It is off by default and only ever adds entries.

Create a Worktivity account
Sign up and invite the people who work off your ClickUp lists.
Connect ClickUp in Workspace settings
In Worktivity, open Workspace settings, then Integrations, and select Connect on the ClickUp card. Only the Owner and Co-owner can do this.
Approve and link a list
Approve the access on ClickUp's own screen and pick the ClickUp workspaces to use if you have several. Then open Manage and use Connect list to link a ClickUp list to a new or existing Worktivity project.
Start tracking
The ClickUp tasks show up in that Worktivity project and refresh regularly, or on request with "Sync now". Time tracked against them lands there.

Status, priority and due date follow ClickUp on the next sync. Custom statuses land as In progress, Under review or On hold. A change you make in Worktivity stays until ClickUp changes that field again.

Titles and descriptions stay current after each sync. Importing never changes your ClickUp tasks or lists. Only if you turn on Write time back does Worktivity add tracked time as time entries, depending on your ClickUp plan and permissions.
