Worktivity connects a monday.com board to a Worktivity project and pulls its items in as tasks, so tracked time lands on the work your team already plans in monday.com. Importing is read-only: your monday.com items and boards are never changed. The one thing that can go back is tracked time. If you turn on Write time back, Worktivity adds it as an update on the matching item. It is off by default and only ever adds updates.

How to connect monday.com

A few minutes in Worktivity. No engineering ticket, no script to run.

Create a Worktivity account
Sign up and invite the people who work off your monday.com boards.
Connect monday.com in Workspace settings
In Worktivity, open Workspace settings, then Integrations, and select Connect on the monday.com card. Only the Owner and Co-owner can do this.
Approve and link a board
Approve the access on monday.com's own screen. One connection covers one monday.com account. Then open Manage and use Connect board to link a monday.com board to a new or existing Worktivity project.
Start tracking
The monday.com items show up as tasks in that Worktivity project and refresh regularly, or on request with "Sync now". Time tracked against them lands there.

Pull the items of a monday.com board into a project as tasks and track time on them. Importing is read-only; an optional Write time back switch adds your time to the items as updates.

Items become tasks
Items from a linked monday.com board arrive as tasks in the Worktivity project, so people track time against the work the team already plans in monday.com, instead of logging it twice. Importing never changes your monday.com items or boards.
People matched by email
People are matched to your employees by their email address, so tasks reach the right person without matching them one by one. Anyone Worktivity cannot match, a guest without a visible email for example, you match by hand.
Time back to monday.com, if you want it
Importing never changes your monday.com items or boards. Only if you turn on Write time back, which is off by default, does Worktivity add the time tracked from then on as an update on the matching item, one per person per item per day, once the day is over. The update is posted by the account that made the connection, not by the person who tracked the time.
