The Toggl Track figure is its annual-billing rate, the lowest price it publishes, while ours is the monthly list price. Paid annually Worktivity drops to $3.32, so the real gap is wider than the numbers above. Both are billed per seat, so it grows with headcount.

Which one fits your team
Worktivity is the better fit if:
- Nobody has to remember to start a timer. The desktop agent records time, applications and projects as the work happens, so the timesheet is not reconstructed on Friday afternoon.
- There is a record behind each hour: activity level, the application in front and, if you want them, screenshots. Toggl leaves that out on purpose, which is fine until a client or an auditor asks.
- The tracked hours pay people. Payouts and invoicing are part of Worktivity, so the same record that measured the work settles what is owed for it.
Toggl Track is the better fit if:
- Adoption is your real problem. Toggl is the easiest tracker in this category to get a reluctant team to actually use, and a tracker nobody uses measures nothing.
- You do not want monitoring in the building. Toggl's refusal to capture screenshots or activity levels is a stated position, and for some teams it is the deciding one.
- People track from everywhere. Toggl's mobile apps, browser extension and offline timer are more polished than most in this category, ours included.
Switching from Toggl Track
The export is trivial and the behaviour change is not. Moving off Toggl means moving from time people declare to time an agent observes, and that conversation matters more than any file you download.

Can I bring my Toggl entries across?
Export the detailed report as CSV and keep it as your archive. There is no import path into Worktivity, and the two records are different in kind anyway: Toggl holds time people entered, Worktivity holds time the agent observed. Rebuild the project and client list first so new tracking is categorised from day one.
Does everyone have to be monitored?
No. Screenshot capture can be blurred or switched off for the whole organisation, and recording only happens inside the working hours you configure. Activity level measures whether the keyboard or mouse was in use, never what was typed or clicked, and each person can see their own record.
Is Worktivity as simple as Toggl?
Not for the person being tracked. Toggl is a one-button timer and hard to beat on that. Worktivity's simplicity is on the other side of the desk: the record is produced without anyone maintaining it, and the analysis arrives written rather than assembled by the manager.
