What do I see on the Overview and Team screens?

The two dashboard screens both cover today: one totals the whole organization, the other shows one card per person.

The Dashboard group holds two screens, and both answer the same question from a different distance. Overview totals the organization; Team puts one card in front of you for each person. Neither screen looks further back than today.

Where they are

  1. Open app.useworktivity.com and sign in.
  2. In the sidebar, open Dashboard, then Overview or Team.

Overview, from top to bottom

  • Six counters: Employees, Working, On break, Idle, Stopped work, Yet to start. They add up to the people your role can see.
  • Clock-in / clock-out: the first and last activity each person reported today, with the time worked so far.
  • Apps in the last hour: working minutes per five-minute slice, by application. The hour is measured on the server clock, so it does not shift with your own calendar day.
  • Apps by AI category and Websites by AI category: today's tracked time grouped by the category Worktivity AI detected.
  • Recent screenshots: the twenty newest captures from today. Records that carry no image are left out, so the strip never shows an empty frame.
  • Risk reports: the section at the bottom. Owners and co-owners see it; managers do not.

The Team screen

Each person gets a card with their status, clock-in and clock-out, time worked, activity share and when they were last seen. A button in the toolbar switches between cards and a table.

  • The status pills filter the list, and the count on each pill follows your search.
  • Status, search text and layout are kept in the address bar, so a filtered view can be sent to a colleague as a link.
  • Selecting a person opens their profile in a drawer, with stats, activity history and screenshots.

How fresh the numbers are

The counters, the clock list and the last-hour chart re-read once a minute. The Team screen does the same and also refreshes when you come back to the tab. The other cards refresh when you open the screen or press the refresh button.

Both screens are about today. For any other day, and for totals across a range, use the timesheet instead.

Who sees whom

  • Owner and co-owner see everyone in the organization.
  • Manager sees only their own team. The server narrows the request itself, so the counters and cards already cover that team alone.
  • Employee does not get these two screens at all; the Dashboard group is not drawn for them.

For hours across a longer range, read where to see the hours your team worked. For the section at the bottom of Overview, read what risk reports measure.
