How do I delete my organization?
Only the founder can delete an organization, and it takes a typed confirmation plus a password. Everything goes with it and nothing comes back.
Deleting an organization is permanent. Before the steps, it is worth checking whether one of the smaller actions does what you actually want, because none of those are permanent and this one is.
Things that are not deletion
If you want to stop paying, cancel the subscription. The organization stays, your history stays, and you can start a subscription again later.
If you want tracking to stop, remove the desktop app from the computers or deactivate the people. Nothing new gets recorded and the existing records stay readable.
If somebody has left, delete that employee rather than the organization. Their activity, screenshots and recordings go with them and everyone else is untouched.
Who can do it
The founder, and nobody else. An administrator has every other permission in the organization but cannot delete it, which is deliberate: the account paying for the workspace is the one that gets to end it.
The steps
Open Organization settings and scroll to the bottom of the General tab. The delete section is at the end, marked in red and separated from the rest of the page.
Press the button and a confirmation opens. You type the organization name exactly as it is written, then your account password. Both are required, and a wrong value stops the process without deleting anything.
Export anything you want to keep first. Timesheets, activity reports and payroll all have an Export as xlsx button, and once the organization is gone there is nothing left to export from.
What is removed
Employees, teams, projects, tasks, customers, invoices, leave records, timesheets, activity history, screenshots and recordings. Every member loses access at once and the desktop apps stop reporting.
There is no undo and no recovery window. If the deletion was a mistake, the way back is a new organization and starting fresh.
If your reason for deleting is something the product did wrong, write to us before you press the button. Several things people delete over turn out to be a setting.
