How does the affiliate program work?

A personal referral link, 30% commission on each payment, a thirty day waiting period and a payout threshold of $100.

The affiliate program belongs to your user account, not to an organization, and it carries no role condition. Anyone with a Worktivity account can take part.

Joining

  1. Click your avatar at the top right and choose Affiliate.
  2. Press Get my referral link.

One press creates a twelve character referral code and your link, which is the Worktivity website address with ?ref= and that code. Demo accounts cannot join.

The five numbers

  • Visitors: visits through your link. Repeat visits from the same address inside sixty minutes count once.
  • Registered: people who created a Worktivity account after following your link.
  • Subscribed: referred accounts on a paid subscription right now. Trials and lifetime plans are not counted.
  • Pending: commission still inside the waiting period.
  • Released: commission that has cleared the waiting period.

How a referral is attached

When someone registers, Worktivity looks for the most recent recorded visit from the same address and copies its referral code onto the new account. The link does not expire, so a visitor who comes back much later still counts as yours. Where two links were followed, the last one wins.

How much and when

  • The commission is 30% of the amount on each payment, and it is written on the first subscription payment and on the renewals that follow.
  • A thirty day waiting period runs from the date the customer's payment was collected. Until it ends the amount sits in Pending, which is what covers refunds, chargebacks and cancellations.

Asking for a payout

The button opens once your unpaid balance reaches $100. It writes an email to the Worktivity support team with your referral code and your balance already filled in.

Nothing is transferred from this screen. The request is an email; payouts are sent on the fifteenth of the month following it, for the part that has cleared the waiting period.

The frequently asked questions at the bottom of the screen carry the full program terms, including what you may do with the Worktivity name and materials. Plans and subscription changes are covered in changing or cancelling your plan; the account itself is in account settings.
